Professional Copper Cookware, Made in Italy.
Part of Ballarini’s Professional 1500 Series, this serving pan is crafted in Italy from pure copper with a substantial 2mm thickness and a traditional pure tin interior lining applied by hand.
Copper is prized in professional kitchens for its exceptional thermal conductivity and responsiveness. It heats quickly and reacts rapidly to adjustments in temperature, giving the cook excellent control throughout the cooking process.
With its generous 32cm diameter and low 6.5cm profile, this serving pan provides a broad cooking surface ideal for sautéing vegetables, browning ingredients, reducing sauces and preparing dishes where consistent, responsive heat is important.
The mirror-polished copper exterior is complemented by professional tubular brass handles, giving the pan its distinctive traditional appearance. Designed for both cooking and presentation, it is an elegant piece to take directly from the kitchen to the table.

Copper is highly responsive to heat, so high temperatures are generally unnecessary. For many cooking tasks, low to medium heat will provide excellent results while helping to protect the traditional tin lining.
Cooking with Tin-Lined Copper
Traditional tin-lined copper cookware requires a little more care than stainless steel cookware.
Avoid heating the serving pan while completely empty. Add your cooking fat, liquid or ingredients before applying heat and avoid unnecessarily high cooking temperatures.
To help preserve the hand-applied tin lining, use wooden, silicone or other non-abrasive utensils. Avoid sharp metal utensils or abrasive tools that may scratch the softer tin cooking surface.
Care & Maintenance
Washing: Hand wash using warm water, mild dishwashing liquid and a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid dishwashers, abrasive scourers and harsh cleaning products.
Tin Interior: The hand-applied tin lining is softer than stainless steel and should be treated gently. Some changes in its appearance with use are natural.
Copper Exterior: Copper naturally develops a deeper colour and patina over time. This is a characteristic of genuine copper rather than a defect. If you prefer a brighter finish, the exterior can be maintained with a suitable copper cleaner.
After Washing: Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth to help minimise water marks and preserve the finish.
A Note About Traditional Copper Cookware
Copper cookware is designed to develop character with use. Changes in the colour and appearance of both the copper exterior and tin interior are a natural part of owning traditionally constructed cookware.
With appropriate use and care, Ballarini Professional Copper cookware combines exceptional cooking performance with the timeless beauty of a piece designed to be enjoyed in both the kitchen and at the table.
Please Note: As a natural material, copper will develop a patina and change in appearance with use. The traditional hand-applied tin lining may also develop variations in appearance over time. These are natural characteristics of traditional copper cookware and are not considered defects.
