Description
The ZWILLING universal steamer insert transforms any pot into a steamer. Made with premium 18/10 stainless steel, it flexibly fits all ZWILLING pots with a 20 or 24 cm diameter. The steamer insert gently prepares a wide range of foods, including vegetables, fish and even meat. Its satin finish is scratch resistant and dishwasher-safe. Instead of searing vegetables or meat, the steamer insert cooks them gently. The food doesn’t sit in the water, but is cooked by the rising steam. Nothing burns and precious vitamins and minerals aren’t lost.
Vegetable colours likewise maintain their intensity and inspire a joy for healthy cooking. An additional advantage of this way of cooking is that no fat or oil is needed with a steamer insert. Simply place the vegetables, or whatever you wish, in the pot insert and bring the water to the boil. The steam does the rest. All you have to do is remove the food from the steamer insert and enjoy.
