INGREDIENTS
- 1 can (28 oz) whole tomatoes, drained
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 sprigs fresh oregano, leaves picked
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves picked
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- Pinch of sugar
- Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
HOW TO MAKE IT
Place the drained tomatoes, garlic, oregano and thyme leaves, tomato paste, oil, vinegar, and a pinch of sugar into the blending beaker of the ZWILLING XTEND Hand Blender. Season with salt and pepper. Blend on High until thick and smooth, moving the blending arm up and down several times while you blend to achieve an even consistency.
